I am a Pediatrician with experience across health policy, business strategy, and global development. Currently, I am a Clinical Fellow in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and Boston Children’s Hospital. I am interested in issues of equity and access to care within the broader healthcare system, especially as related to early childhood development.

Previously, I was a strategy consultant to global health programs at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and have also worked in policy and public affairs at Pfizer. I started my career as a management consultant at Bain & Company, working with clients in diverse industries on a variety of strategic and operational topics.

I completed my pediatric internship and residency training at the Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan. I received my MD from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and MPH from the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University. I graduated from Duke in 2011 with a degree in Philosophy and a minor in Economics.

My experiences as a Blue Devil have taken me to places ranging from New Delhi, India on a Duke Engage project to work with a local NGO in providing more adequate health care to marginalized populations, to study abroad at Oxford and in Greece, where I was lucky enough to take a philosophy course set in ancient Athens itself. On campus I was involved with a number of musical groups, led the undergraduate chapter of Net Impact, volunteered at Duke Hospital, and worked at the Kenan Institute for Ethics.

Since graduating, Baldwin has continued to be a source of support and inspiration. Through this program I have gotten to know women of varied interests, yet similar passions for leadership and self empowerment. I would encourage current Duke students to cultivate those individual interests, build lasting relationships, and to be assertive in striving for the opportunities and experiences that present themselves. Above all, don't be afraid to be unconventional, and make your Duke experience your own.
