I have always been the kind of person that enjoys doing new and exciting things. My love for exploring the unknown has been one of the primary driving forces in shaping my life experiences. It allowed me and my family to move from Nigeria to Augusta, Georgia, and it allowed me to be able to move to Durham and become a Baldwin Scholar.

Currently, I am a first year medical student at Duke University School of Medicine. I graduated from Duke University in May 2009 with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. I am still pursuing my undergraduate interests in neuroscience, and I am hoping to further my research to working with brain tumors.

I am really blessed to be a Baldwin. The element of sisterhood embedded within the program is of the most importance to me. I feel that the support that the program provides during these is trying times is crucial and necessary in order for us to succeed in life. And with the help of the Baldwins, I plan to succeed!
