During my time at Duke, I sat on the Chronicle's Editorial Board and served as a Duke Student Government (DSG)'s Liaison to Gender Issues.  I also interned for the International Women's Democracy Center and Senator Mark Warner.  In my senior year, I was elected by popular vote as Young Trustee, a position that grants a 3-year term on Duke's Board of Trustees, the highest decision-making body of the University. As Young Trustee, I served on the Undergraduate Education, Business and Finance, and Audit committees.

After graduation, I worked at a public-private marketing partnership in Washington, D.C.  I graduated from Harvard Law School and am an attorney in the Boston area.
