Lexy Lattimore (she/her) is an artist, director, and social worker. She creates space for people to heal, transform their lives, and positively change their communities.
A gifted dancer and talented singer, Lexy travels the world building community through the arts. From touring professionally in Cuba to leading a neighborhood revitalization process in Cleveland, Ohio, Lexy believes the arts are a powerful tool we can use to change our lives for the better.
Lexy’s skills as a facilitator and performer were strengthened throughout her education. She graduated cum laude (Duke 14’ yass!) with a Bachelor’s in History and honors in Dance. After graduating, Lexy worked in community health care. She left Boston’s innovative care scene to dance with two contemporary ballet companies. In 2019, she pursued her master’s in social work from Case Western Reserve University. She graduated magna cum laude as a Mandel Leadership Fellow (full scholarship) and studied community trauma, resilience, and healing through the arts.
She is the recipient of the Sylvia and John A. Yankey Community Service Award, the Irene Sogg Gross Outstanding Humanitarian Service Award, and the Cleveland Arts Prize Verge Fellowship. She is from Chelmsford, Massachusetts and lives in Boston with her amazing partner, Ven, and their super athletic cat, Cleveland James.
