Hi! My name is Juliette Pigott and I am a Class of 2017 Duke and Baldwin Scholar graduate. I grew up in Far Hills, New Jersey and currently live in Columbus, OH, where I work in merchandising at Abercrombie and Fitch's corporate headquarters.
At Duke, I studied Public Policy and Markets and Management. I chose this combination because I love learning about current events, history, marketing, and consumer psychology, and this academic path allowed me to explore my interdisciplinary interests. Duke afforded me the opportunity to pursue these interests outside of the classroom as well. I gained marketing experience through a variety of internships, some of which include working at the Duke Chronicle Advertising Office, Wasserman Media Group in New York (while participating in the Duke in New York Program), the Durham Performing Arts Center, and Xaxis, an advertising technology company based in New York. These experiences helped me to discover my passion for product and brand development and led me to my current merchandising role at Abercrombie.
On campus, I was a member of Business Oriented Women, on the executive board of the Duke Marketing Club, in a sorority, and, of course, a member of Baldwin Scholars! I have loved being a part of this community and learning from the women in it.
