Hi, My name is Fehintoluwa Benson, or Tolu for short! I am super excited to be joining this awe-inspiring and talented group of women. I have lived all over the US in Maryland, Wisconsin, and North and South Carolina. The constant moving during my childhood mixed with my Nigerian heritage causes me to savor the differences in people no matter how large or how small. Which often influences my hobbies of reading, baking, listening to music, and most importantly eating.
At Duke I am interested in the insertion of Tech and Economics, and how they impact the development and changes in societies. Outside of academics, I am also a member of the Black Pre-law Society, Colorstack, Business Oriented Women, and Duke Cyber.
In conclusion, I am super proud and blessed to be a Baldwin Scholar. I can’t wait to grow and contribute to this amazing group of women!
