I graduated from Duke University in 2011 with a B.S. in Evolutionary Anthropology. While at Duke, I was involved with the Baldwin program, Ubuntu, and class council. After graduation, I headed to Houston, TX with Teach for America, where I was a Biology teacher and volleyball coach. In 2017, I earned my Masters of Social Work and my LGSW from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. I am now a school-based therapist with an outpatient mental health program in Maryland. To this day, I still fondly think of the Baldwin program. It is my support network of strong, inspiring, and hardworking women. The Baldwin program reminded me to use my talents and gifts to pursue a rewarding career on my own terms. My husband and I live in downtown Baltimore.
