Hi all! My name is Amelia, and I was lucky enough to be a part of the Baldwin Class of 2021. I am from Durham, NC originally, and I graduated from Duke with a major in Political Science and double minor in History and Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies. My studies, research, and work have focused primarily on women’s political representation and leadership, as well as the gendered impact of various policies. Eventually, I plan to be a civil rights lawyer focusing on 14th amendment Equal Protection litigation.  
 
After graduation, I spent a year completing a Master’s in Gender, Politics, and International Relations at University College Dublin in Ireland through the Mitchell Scholarship program. I’m now planning to work in DC for a year before starting at Harvard Law School in 2023.
