Hi. My name is Liz Victor. I'm from Aiken, South Carolina. After graduating from Duke with a BA in Psychology, I moved to NYC to complete my masters in clinical psychology at Columbia University. Now I'm back at Duke for my PhD in clinical psychology. I am so happy to be back in the South and especially back at Duke :) My research interests are in adolescent development, particularly the neurocognitive and self-identity factors that influence risky decision making during adolescence.
Over the last four years, I've been involved in a variety of research projects--everything from running fMRI scans for children with ADHD to publishing a paper on Self-Discrepancy Theory and its impact on casual sexual decision making. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions about Duke, the Baldwin Scholar Program, or any interest in clinical psychology.
