Although I’m a true “Bombay” girl from Mumbai, India, my family has Syrian, Jordanian and Gujarati roots. Applying to the Baldwin Scholars Program was the single best decision I’ve made at Duke, as it has made me feel right at home in a completely foreign environment. I am majoring in Art History and Markets and Management, training to hone my skills as an art dealer and following in the footsteps of my forefathers. I will be spending my junior year at Oxford University, exploring all of Europe’s treasures and enjoying the benefits of being a few thousand miles closer to home.
