My name is Natalie Le, and I couldn't be happier to be a part of the Baldwin Scholars program. I was born and raised in Dallas, TX, where I lived with my parents, my older sister Emily (who's now in law school), and my dog Coconut. So far, being at Duke has been such an exciting experience, and I feel like I discover something new about the campus and its people every day. This school has really opened my eyes to a lot of things--it's renewed my sense of adventure, my curiosity, and my love of learning. I guess it's pretty obvious that I love being a Blue Devil!
At Duke, I plan to double major in Computer Science and Economics. I studied Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Pratt School during my first year of college, but I have since switched over to the Trinity School after an especially enlightening summer internship. Speaking from experience, I encourage everyone to explore diverse interests and to find what truly lights the fire in your soul (cheesy, I know, but finally discovering what you want to study can honestly feel like that).
In my free time, I love to exercise, sing, walk around in my shark onesie, and talk. I'm a member of Out of the Blue, Duke's oldest all-female a cappella group, and I write for Devil's Advocates and DukEngineer Magazine. I'm also a university tour guide, so if you ever want to hear random facts about our school, let me know! :)
