Hi! My name is Juliette Pigott and I grew up in Far Hills, New Jersey.
At Duke, I am studying Public Policy and Markets and Management. I chose this combination because I love learning about current events, history, marketing, and consumer psychology, and this academic path allowed me to explore my interdisciplinary interests. Duke has afforded me the opportunity to pursue these interests outside of the classroom as well. I gained marketing experience through a variety of internships, some of which include working at the Duke Chronicle Advertising Office, Wasserman Media Group in New York (while participating in the Duke in New York Program), the Durham Peforming Arts Center, and Xaxis, an advertising technology company based in New York. These experiences helped me to discover my passion for product and brand development. I am very excited that, following graduation, I will be working in merchandising at Abercrombie & Fitch in Columbus, Ohio.
On campus, I am a member of Busines Oriented Women, am on the executive board of the Duke Marketing Club, am in a sorority, and, of course, am a member of Baldwin Scholars! I have loved being a part of this community and learning from the women in it. It has been a central part of my Duke experience and I am incredibly grateful for it.
