 Hi! I'm Cassi and here is just a little bit about who I am, what I do and what I think:  

Hometown: Sewickley, PA (outside of Pittsburgh... aka Steelers and Penguins =)... )

Activities: Duke Women's Varsity Lacrosse, Athletes in Action

What I'm Doing This Summer: I took Economics the first summer session at Duke. Right now I am home hanging out with my little sister and 3 dogs and 3 cats (i know i basically live on a farm ... ps we also have 1 bird ... and 2 hamsters which will not be living in our dorm room next year :) ...). On July 24 I will go to Vietnam with a Duke/UNC student athlete program where they pay for us to travel and teach young vietnamese kids about different sports and different academic/life skills. I'm really excited!!

Academic Interests: biology, public policy, mind/body interaction

People I Would Have Liked Seen Get the Dem. Nomination: Stephen Colbert (although i'm more a Stewart fan), Ron Paul... and shocker yes I believe I would have chosen Hillary over Obama... oh well.. 

Possible Major: It changes every day... but as of today I am thinking about creating my own major and combining all sorts of things I like. 

Favorite Tv Shows: Grey's Anatomy, Daily Show, Weeds, Tila Tequila

Interests: My Friends, Adventures, Sports, Music, French Poets, Ceramics, Film, Duke Gardens, Thunderstorms

Favorite Movie: Fight Club

Music I Secretly Like: Britney Spears/NSync/Backstreet Boys/Spice Girls oldies (totally obsessed), Phantom of the Opera, Lion King and Wicked Soundtracks
