Audra Bass

Hello! To be honest, and demonstrate a side of my personality, this is the third time I have attempted to create a profile; and after having meticulously tried twice before to cultivate something about me I, alas, have not been successful. I think this stems from my friends diagnosing me with TDD (technology deficiency disorder), which is sadly still prevalent to this day. Therefore I would rather not write a finely articulated summary about myself because I am a big believer for all things happening for a reason, and so with "third's times a charm" I will try something new. Basically I am going to state a bunch of sayings, thoughts, prayers, and poems that I like to remember or live by. I hope that you enjoy…

1.) “I will not play at tug o' war, I'd rather play at hug o' war, Where everyone hugs, Instead of tugs, Where everyone giggles, And rolls on the rug, Where everyone kisses, And everyone grins, And everyone cuddles, And everyone wins” (Shel Silverstein)
2.) “We are spiritual beings on a human journey” (Older sister Samantha)
3.) “For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, not things present, nor things to come, not powers, nor height, not depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38-39)
4.) “If you don’t have anything nice to say, then don’t say it all” (Mom)
5.) “Practice makes progress, not perfection”
6.) “You’ve got to keep going, even if it is only one step at a time. You can’t just lay down and die” (Mom)
7.) “Let it go, Daisy, Let it go, Open up your fist, This fallen world, Doesn't hold your interest, It doesn't hold your soul, Daisy, let it go” (Switchfoot)
8.) “When I am afraid, I will trust in you, In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid, What can mortal man do to me?” (Psalm 56:3-4)
9.) “Live and Let live”
Have a lovely day!
