Baldwin Scholars

Baldwin Scholars Class of 2011

Meet the fourth class of Baldwin Scholars, Class of 2011.  The class features students from twelve U.S. states.  Three Scholars were born abroad, in China, South Korea, and Oman. 

 

Baldwin Scholars Class of 2010

Meet the third class of Baldwin Scholars, Class of 2010. This class features students from thirteen U.S. states, Canada, and the Dominican Republic. Academic interests include international law, medicine, biomedical engineering, politics, architecture, and international business. Outside the classroom, the Scholars are involved in varsity volleyball, field hockey, cross-country, Duke Chorale, Duke Student Government, Black Student Alliance, community service, lampworking, Tae Kwon Do, club sports, and The Chronicle.

 

Baldwin Scholars Class of 2009

Meet the second class of Baldwin Scholars, Class of 2009. We are pleased to include three international students this year in addition to students from 12 different U.S. states. The Scholars have diverse academic interests in law, art, medicine, engineering, physics, and public policy. Outside the classroom, the scholars are involved in numerous activities, including varsity field hockey, a capella groups, research, fencing, sororities, social justice issues, backpacking, and figure skating.

 

Baldwin Scholars Class of 2008

The inaugural class of Baldwin Scholars hails from 12 different states and has academic interests as diverse as environmental policy, human rights, medicine, computer science, engineering and art history. Outside the classroom, the scholars are involved in numerous activities, including varsity lacrosse, a capella groups, elementary school tutoring, Duke Republicans, Black Student Alliance and rape prevention education.
